It is said that there are a little over 10 NBA superstars who are earning at least $9 million per year on their shoe deals, and one of the richest of the bunch is Kyrie Irving, pocketing $11 million annually from his contract with Nike.

Kyrie, the new Brooklyn Nets point guard, got his first-ever signature Nike shoe back in 2014, and it’s none other than the Kyrie 1. That time, he was still playing for the franchise the Cleveland Cavaliers, the same year when he won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. To date, the Kyrie 1 remains as one of the best-selling signature sneakers from the shoe giant. Nike collaborated with Nickelodeon just recently and came up with the SpongeBob SquarePants x Kyrie collection. SpongeBob SquarePants, in case you didn’t know it, is Kyrie’s favorite cartoon character.

Late in 2019, the Kyrie 6 was unveiled. The signature shoe was more lifestyle-oriented, allowing the wearer to shine even outside the basketball court. It also fused old and new shoe technologies and design elements.
